  1. "Oh my gawd!" ... it seems it's already been sold. All we need do is look around to see at what cost... e.g. bank bailouts without regulations; two ongoing, unpaid, WARS; waves of foreclosures; recent, past administrative, criminal activity; etc. I'm thinking we're no longer a country of people who value the constitution. Rather, we have become a colossal military/corporate-complex that knows the cost of everything.

  2. Is this the real thing? It looks like it was abused and then ignored. Since most of it hasn't been used in a while, is it still in working condition? Do the amendments come with it, or do those have to be purchaced separately? I have heard that the 2nd has already been sold and is being used improperly. Also, the owners have been suggesting that it be used to modify the rest of it. Is there a guarantee that won't happen? Is the price negotiable?

  4. There is a terrific article in Harvard Magazine this month that draws from President Obama's years as a professor of Constitutional Law at University of Chicago. Professor Obama maintained that the constitution we have today is the product of compromises because the constitutional convention was so bitterly divided and diametrically opposed on every issue of importance. Doesn't that sound familiar?
